TV-NUC972 ARM9 HMI Control Board

An entry-level Nuvoton NUC972 ARM9 HMI board with hardware cryptography, two CAN and two RS-485 ports, and an 8-inch display with infrared touch.

Overview

For simple HMIs where cost and power budget are tight, the TV-NUC972 provides a 300 MHz ARM9 processor with 64 MB of in-package DDR2 and hardware AES/SHA/3DES encryption. It drives a standard 8-inch display with multi-point infrared touch and offers two RS-485 and two CAN ports for field devices. The board runs from 12V or a 7.4V lithium battery, which suits portable and battery-backed equipment.
