TV-W-GYWG Multi-Protocol Industrial Gateway (CAN J1939, LoRa, NB-IoT)

A rugged Cortex-M4 data-acquisition gateway with 2× CAN (J1939), 2× RS-485, 4–20 mA and frequency inputs, plus LoRa, NB-IoT, 4G and Ethernet uplinks.

Overview

The TV-W-GYWG is designed for machine and asset monitoring where signals come from many sources. Its Cortex-M4 controller reads two 4–20 mA analog channels, two frequency/voltage inputs (0–250 Hz), two CAN buses (CAN 2.0A/B, J1939) and two RS-485 ports, then forwards the data over Ethernet, 4G, NB-IoT or a 915 MHz LoRa link with AES-128 encryption. It works as a Modbus-TCP server for up to 16 clients and runs from 18–36V DC over -25 to +85 °C.

Frequently asked questions

Does the TV-W-GYWG support J1939?

Yes. Both CAN ports support CAN 2.0A/B and the J1939 protocol at 5 kbps to 1 Mbps.

What LoRa frequency does it use?

It uses 915 MHz LoRa with AES-128 encryption and a line-of-sight range of about 1.2 km. Other regional bands should be confirmed with TouchVision.

How many Modbus TCP clients can connect?

Up to 16 clients can connect to its TCP server.
